After graduating from the Department of Architectural Structures at Tongji University in 1988, he worked in China for five years.In 1996, following Nikken Sekkei’s victory in the competition for the “Shanghai Information Hub Building,” he began working in the Structural Design Department at Nikken Sekkei. Since then, he has been engaged in structural analysis, structural design, and project management for standalone projects involving both structural and mechanical/electrical systems. Notable projects include, overseas, the “Guangzhou Library,” “Shenzhen Taiping Financial Tower,”“Suzhou Taiping Financial Tower,” “Xinyuan International Shijiazhuang Complex,” and “Suzhou Center”; and in Japan, the “Yokohama Marine Tower Seismic Retrofit Project” and the “Kahoku Shimpo” building. He has received awards including the World Chinese Architectural Creation Award, the Architectural Institute of Japan Project Selection Award, and the CITAB-CTBUH China Best Tall Buildings Architecture Honor Award.
