In 1994, he joined Nikken Sekkei immediately after completing his graduate studies at Kumamoto University.
His specialty is architectural design. He has been involved in the design of offices and medical facilities. He places great importance on accurately understanding the needs of clients and end users, and on creating architectural “forms” that are appealing to the people involved in the building and to society as a whole.
His design projects include the “Saga Prefectural Medical Center Koseikan,” “Kita-Harima Medical Center,” and the “Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Survivors’ Hospital.” He also received the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Selected Works Award for the “Namba Park Spa Star Tower” and the Medical and Welfare Architecture Award for the “Kurume University Medical Center” and the “Tokyo Metropolitan Tama General Medical Center and Comprehensive Children’s Medical Center.”
He is a First-Class Architect, a healthcare management consultant, and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan.
