KOSÉ Nihonbashi Office

This project involved the renovation of the Nihonbashi office of KOSÉ Corporation, a cosmetics manufacturer. The 1,000-square-meter office, located on the 7th floor of a high-rise building in Tokyo’s bustling Nihonbashi district, was completed to coincide with the company’s 75th anniversary.The design theme was “an environment where wisdom related to beauty is born.” The chic, light-filled multipurpose space was planned as a spacious, semi-open area featuring an exposed-structure ceiling.Furthermore, the reception area features stainless steel with varying shades of a sandblasted finish, expressing the elegance, luster, and sparkle that are essential to the image of a cosmetics manufacturer. To avoid clashing with the diverse colors of the cosmetics handled by the company, the overall design is unified using a neutral white color scheme.
