Contemporary revitalization of Japan's first for-sale condominium
This project is a rebuild of the original Miyamasuzaka Building, Japan‘s first condominium for sale by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, a project which was completed in 1953. The effort was designed to transform the former Miyamasuzaka Building’s residents‘ values of “Shibuya cultural life,” “Japan’s first for-sale luxury condo,” and “a state-of-the-art housing complex,” into contemporary Shibuya and its lifestyle after a period of 70 years.
